Netflix acquired the hit TV series “F.R.I.E.N.D.S.” in 2015 and has been the only streaming service with all 236 episodes since. Netflix streaming service recently announced via twitter that the series would be leaving the streaming site and joining Warner’s new streaming service, “HBO Max”,  which will launch next spring. It’ll feature exclusive streaming rights to all 236 episodes of “Friends”,  “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” , and “Pretty Little Liars”, plus new original shows like an animated “Gremlins” reboot and a thriller called “The Flight Attendant” starring Kaley Cuoco.

Last year, Netflix supposedly coughed up $100 MILLION to keep  “F.R.I.E.N.D.S.” through 2019. Before that, they were paying $30 million a year for it.
