2019 Houston LGBT Pride Celebration

Join Special K & the KRBE Squad at 2019 Houston LGBT Pride Celebration on Saturday June 22nd to CelebrateLGBTQIA+ Pride and the 50th anniversaries of the Stonewall Riots, the Woodstock festival, and the Moon Landing!

The Summer of 69’ was a summer of small steps and giant leaps. A summer of love in the midst of great trials. And it was the summer our story began– when Marsha P. Johnson and others stood firm against oppression and began the now infamous Stonewall Riots.T

This event is ADMISSION FREE and open to the public to attend/watch and open to the public (no age limit). The Houston Pride Festival® and Pride Parade® are at the center of the Celebration with an attendance of over 700,000 people every year from all over the world. Come and join all of the LGBT Community in celebrating who we are as a people.

Houston Pride FESTIVAL®:
Starts at 12:00 PM CST and ends at 7:00 PM CST
Cross Streets: McKinney St and Smith St

This event is ADMISSION FREE and open to the public to attend/watch and open to the public (no age limit). No tickets are necessary except for the Parade/Festival VIP area.

Headliners for this year’s festival include Young M.A. & Dorian Electra!

The following items are not allowed in the Festival. Pride Houston and the Houston Police Department reserve the right to check all bags and remove any disruptive attendees

  • Glass Containers
  • Shading Devices (larger than 4ft in diameter)
  • Bicycles
  • Weapons or Fireworks
  • Aerosol Cans
  • Drones or UAVs (without prior approval)
  • Only service dogs are allowed on Festival grounds

Houston Pride PARADE®:
Starts at 8:00 PM CST and ends at 11:00 PM CST
Parade Route: Begins at Smith and Lamar, Continues down Smith St until Walker where it will make a right turn, continues down Walker until Milam St until Jefferson St.

This event is ADMISSION FREE and open to the public to attend/watch and open to the public (no age limit). No tickets are necessary except for the Parade VIP area.

2019 marks the 50-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City. Pride Houston wants to recognize this pivotal event in our community’s history by celebrating four community activist trans women of color as the Pride Houston Honorary Grand Marshals. The 2019 Pride Houston Honorary Grand Marshals are Atlantis Narcisse, Dee Dee Watters, Ana Andrea Molina and Monica Robert.
