Carly Rae Jepsen to Headline Famous Gay Dance Festival
7:08PM Thursday
March 21, 2013

Carly Rae Jepsen recently canceled an appearance at the Boy Scouts of America's annual Jamboree, citing the organization's anti-gay policy.  Now she's announced plans to headline a major gay event.

Carly will be the closing act at the world famous White Party T-Dance, which will take place March 31 in Palm Springs, California.  Billed as the "largest gay dance party in the world," the weekend-long event features non-stop dance music and attracts some 30,000 people.  Past performers at the White Party have included Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige.

The Canadian singer tweeted, "I just locked in to headline the White Party T Dance in Palm Springs on Sunday March 31st! Get ready to dance!"

Carly is currently promoting her latest single, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," and she continues to tour Europe with her buddy Justin Bieber.
