Facebook acquires GIPHY

Facebook’s acquisition of GIPHY is reportedly worth $400 million.

GIPHY was founded in 2013 and is used in apps like Instagram and Apple’s iMessage. There has not been a decision on whether Facebook will continue integration with apps and services not associated with Facebook.
