The cause of death for Lisa Marie Presley has finally been revealed. Authorities confirmed that Presley died from complications from her bariatric surgery several years ago. The heir of Elvis Presley passed away on January 12th and was ruled as natural causes. Additional details were revealed this week from the office of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner. 

The procedure that led to the cause of her death was a bariatric surgery, which is a weight loss procedure. The autopsy revealed that she had been struggling with stomach pain earlier that day. She later passed away at a Los Angeles hospital where she was rushed to by paramedics due to a 911 call. She was buried on January 22 in Graceland, which was the home where her father raised her.
