Jada Pinkett Smith revealed on the “Today” show, that she and her husband Will Smith have lived “completely separate lives” for 7 years. In an interview with Hoda Kotb, Pinkett-Smith revealed that though it’s not a legal divorce, it’s basically a divorce without legal documentation. This comes as a shock to many, as Pinkett Smith’s now infamous “Red Table Talk” episode where she addressed her extramarital relationship in 2020 with husband Will Smith. And who can forget about the slap heard around the world at the 2022 Academy Awards where Smith went up on stage and struck presenter Chris Rock for making a sour joke about Pinkett Smith’s hair.
The pair share 2 children, Jaden and Willow, and Trey, Smith’s son from his first marriage. The full hour long NBC prime-time interview will air on October 13th at 8 p.m. ET. Pinkett Smith also has a memoir slated for relase on October 17th titled “Worthy. Many speculate that the book will uncover details on the pair’s trials and tribulations of their marirage.
