The performance arrived as NCT 127 continues promoting Piñata ahead of the release of its seventh full-length album, BLINGY, scheduled for August 24, 2026. The group had also recently performed Piñata at KCON LA 2026, giving fans an early look at the song before its official album release.
NCT 127 has maintained a strong international profile through touring, festival appearances and television performances. Bringing the medley to a major U.S. talent show gave the group another national television platform while highlighting both an established fan favorite and a newer track.
