Meet Jay Rio, better known to his friends as “Rio on the Radio.” Jay was born in Queens, NYC and his parents arrived in H-Town when he was five.

His love for music and the radio fueled a career that began with his radio journey in Houston, then finding his way in Tyler Texas, Indianapolis Indiana, and Montgomery Alabama.

Jay loves Houston sports, playing soccer on the beach, and attending outdoor music festivals. He is best known in the Houston area for his energetic on-air presence during weekends and as a fill-in host on 104.1 KRBE.
