DJ Noel is a Houston-based open-format DJ, radio personality, and party rocker whose passion for music was inspired at an early age by his Salvadorian roots and his father, who DJ’d throughout Houston’s club and party scene during the late ’80s and ’90s.
Growing up in Southwest Houston, Noel was surrounded by music and entertainment. By the age of 18, he was already making a name for himself behind the turntables, performing at clubs and events throughout the Houston area.
His journey eventually led him to Texas Southern University, where he hosted his own Latin mix show on KTSU 90.9 fm while studying radio, television and film. Thereafter, Noel took another major step in his career, earning a position at 104.1 KRBE, Houston’s No. 1 hit music station, where he hosted weekend programming and specialty mix shows.
Today, you can catch DJ Noel Monday through Friday from 7PM–12AM on his very own show, The Night Ride, on 104.1 KRBE. Bringing listeners the perfect mix of music, entertainment, personality, and Houston nightlife energy, The Night Ride showcases exactly why DJ Noel has become a recognizable voice both on the radio and behind the decks.
Outside of the studio, DJ Noel continues to make his mark across Houston’s nightlife and entertainment scene, performing at clubs, private events, and special events throughout the city. His versatility allows him to seamlessly move across genres, from Top 40, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaetón to Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, and Country.
