Taylor Swift earned her 14th No.1 Album atop the Billboard 200 chart following the release of her latest record, ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘. She now ties Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums among solo artists. The Beatles hold the all-time record with a total of 19 No. 1’s.
‘The Tortured Poets Department‘ accumulated a total of 1.914 album unit sales in the U.S. in the first week of its release. Vinyl sales were a big part of that number taking over 859,000 units. Swift’s latest record has already become the top-selling album of 2024, so far. TTPD was released at midnight on April 19th, but Swift shocked fans by unveiling a whole other half of the record, making it a double album at 2 A.M. the same night. The album has a total of 31 tracks.
